Speaker: Henry Kidd, PM retiree, author, and artist
Topic: “Reinventing Yourself in Retirement.”
Henry will be talking about how his lifelong passions have become a reality. He has combined his love of artwork, history, and travel into his personal effort to honor and remember veterans from the American Revolution to today. He will talk about all three passions and how he expresses them through his artwork. Henry will show some of his artwork and the stories behind it with focus on events that occurred on 9-11, and also including the Civil War. Henry raised funds to donate a framed print of his artwork "America's Heroes" to every firehouse and police precinct in NYC. Henry will be displaying some of his prints and will have a book for sale. Come see this inspiring speaker and show support for a fellow retiree.
Sample artwork follows. Title of the artwork is America's Heroes. Henry raised funds to donate a framed print of this artwork to every Firehouse and Police Precinct in NYC. Also attached is a photo of Henry (with the beard) presenting the framed print to FDNY Rescue 1.
