Topic: “Big Brothers Big Sisters.”
Children facing adversity in our community need help building social skills, increasing academic achievement, and creating healthy lifestyles. Learn how you can create community change through mentoring and supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters while doing what you already enjoy. Retiree Chris Cooke was named the Big Brother of the Year for the local Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. Ann and Chris will discuss the program and they will also share a two minute video of Chris and his Little Brother Andre.
Notes: Doors to the cafeteria open at 10:00 a.m. for fellowship and light refreshments. Meeting starts promptly at 11:00 a.m.
