Tom will speak about scams and schemes of all kinds. He thinks that most people are vulnerable and could be victims, even though they think they couldn’t be. Tom has had the chance over his career to see scams aimed at folks who are still in the workforce, but not nearly as many as those focused on retirees. It's too easy to pull off some scams, including medical scams. Come hear Tom and be better prepared to protect yourself.
Notes: Please feel free to invite a retiree friend who hasn’t attended a meeting in a while or has never attended. They will need a government issued picture ID to obtain entry to the property. If they arrive in your car, they do not need to be on the Security List, but if they are driving separately, please ask them to sign up on the website or send us an email at www.retireesconnection.org no later than noon on the Thursday before the meeting to be added to the Security List.
