Topic: “Making the Most of My Journey of Pain and Purpose”
Carol will share her story of her childhood tragedy, where she became an orphan at age 17 due to violence. It had a major impact on her life, including the creation of the Carol Adams Foundation, a foundation dedicated to victims of domestic violence. Carol will discuss the mission and stories from her work with the foundation. Bennie Good has seen her speak and was so impressed that he recommended her as a speaker for us. In October of last year, Carol received the prestigious humanitarian award from the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities. Many have said she is an incredible woman. You don’t want to miss this.
