Speaker: We are very fortunate to have as our guest speaker Liess Van Der Linden Brusse. She is an authority on early American History and especially Chesterfield early history. Liess is a past President of the Chesterfield Historical Society and a very much sought community speaker on Chesterfield history. Only a change in meeting dates gave us this break on getting her as a speaker; she is always booked by many of the civic groups every month. I can vouch for the quality of this speaker because I have heard her speak at another organization I belong to. Her humor and knowledge makes this a very entertaining and learning experience. I'll bet that if you are a member of any other organization, you'll want your group to hear her too. Come this month and be entertained and gain the knowledge of your community from the past to the present.
